The Fantail Launch is 20' long, with a 5'10" beam. It normally runs about
5 knots, with a capacity of 4 to 6 people. It needs about a
5-horsepower engine turning an 18-inch propeller. Current
weight on this boat with engine and boiler is about 2,600 pounds. We have built a couple of these in a 23-foot size and can lengthen or shorten it to suit your needs. Because of the generous beam of this boat, it can be built up to 23' and still be very stable. Approximate price for a 20' hull and deck is $10,500, and $11,000 for 23'. |
