Hello. I'm Ronnie Baird, owner of Rappahannock Boat Works. I've been working with steam for over 30 years (steam trains, steam rollers, etc.) since I was a kid. I've been building boats for about 7 years now. I build boat hulls and can outfit them if you'd like, and I also cast bronze parts for boats. I can cast your pattern, or I'll make you one. I also build steam engines and can either build you one or provide you castings (through my other company, Tiny Power) so you can machine them yourself. I don't build boilers for boats but I can get them for you. Please give me a call some time and I'll be happy to give you a quote. Or stop by my shop to see the boats I'm working on and/or take a short steam trip on our local river, the Rappahannock River.
