Steam Runabout II

The classy Steam Runabout II is 15' long, with a 4'9" beam. It normally runs about 5 knots, with a capacity of 1 or 2 people. It needs about a 2- to 3-horsepower engine turning a 15-inch propeller. Weight with engine and boiler is about 700 or 800 pounds.

This boat uses the same hull design as the other runabout in the gallery, but shows that it's very possible to create an entirely different look depending on the choice of wood, seating arrangements, canopy, etc.
